Guest guest
I use my food processor nearly every day...I use it when I make raw fudge balls.....mixing together at one time whole oats, cocoa, walnuts, raisins, dried cherries, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds...all at one time.... if I want to make cole slaw or waldorf salad especially fine vs chunky style I'll run it through the food processor a time or two. I also use it to blend things together to make an ice cream of sorts. I use the grater blade to make carrot salad. I use my vitamix to make smoothies, soups, etc. Let me tell you why I would not have a Kitchen Aid food processor. I used to love them. But the last two I've had...you never know whether you're ever going to get the bowl blade off the machine...I watched Iron Chef on food tv one evening and they ended up having the same problem I've had with them. I have a Cuisinart now and absolutely love it. Folks on finer kitchens took a poll and the winner was the Cuisinart.
