Food processors

Those of you who have food processors, what sort do you use? I have a

blender, and I have a small Oskar for chopping, but it's not big enough for

most recipes that call for food processor use.

 

I've been shopping around, but the ones I can find here tend to be pretty

much like a big mixing bowl with beaters (not sure how that's different than

just using my hand mixer) and they sometimes have a blender attached as

well. As I already have a blender, I wouldn't need that.

 

So I guess I'm not sure what a " food processor " does -- is it a chopper? Or

a mixer? Do I need one if I already have a blender, an Oskar and a hand

mixer? (In other words, what can it do that these can't?)
