I know this list is focused on the food, but I wanted to quickly share

two resources I just discovered.

As I have mentioned here before, in the last couple of months I have

discovered the convenience and flexibility of home workouts with DVDs.

I stumbled across a wonderful community of people who use workout

videos. They have a very warm and welcoming forum and tons of video

reviews and a big tutorial with suggestions for beginners and all

kinds of great stuff.

The other resource I found is a catalog of workout videos where every

video listed has been actually used by an exercise instructor. The

instructors write reviews and people who use the videos write reviews.

Every video has a one-minute sampler clip so you can see the exercise

style, etc. and there is a very detailed rating system that quickly

tells you what level the video is, what type of exercise, how

complicated the choreography, etc. as well as a visual aid showing the

number of minutes of each section, such as warm-up, toning, aerobics,

cool-down, etc. Finally, there is an excellent search feature that

allows you to isolate just beginner videos, just intermediate, etc. (I

am not affiliated with this business. I just think their catalog is a

great resource for finding new videos to work with, regardless of

where you choose to buy them.)

I hope someone finds these resources helpful.

Yes, one focus, but another focus is perfectly

okay: as the home page adds 'and friendly

vegetarian chat around our dining table' - just

keep it friendly and relevant to vegetarians ;)

Exercise is relevant for a healthy lifestyle, and

many veggies are here for health as well as those

here for ethical or religious reasons.

I've bookmarked this and will be having a better

look at it later. Thanks.

The video clips are very useful - I looked at

one, thought it would be great for me and then

checked the clip - WHOOPS NO! lol So, on to

another one. Great idea to be able to check them

out this way :) Then I can either order from my

library or buy 'em.

Thanks, Sparrow!

Love and hugs, Pat
