Never knew what I'd do with a pressure cooker - I

mean, apart from cooking beans which I currently

cook the slow way in the crockpot I know

people who swear by a pressure cooker and

absolutely feel lost without one. That's me and

the crockpot!

 

I also know people (well, know them in

cyberspace) who can't live without a Vitamix. I

don't have one of those, but I can't manage

without my blender - and also a stick blender

(which has a chopper/processor attachment bowl).

I suppose they'd say the Vitamix does the whole

job and does it better - but it'd need to at the

cost of the blamed thing. (I can be mean with

money sometimes - especially over gadgets - but

I'm trying to get over it! LOL)

I've wanted one of those for years (I think I first started " drooling "

over the thought of getting one back around 1984 or so!) but even

their scratch-and-dent sale prices have been out of my reach. Maybe

after I finish school . . . .
