Guest guest
I just made this and am eating it as I type. Yumm! It comes out like very soft-serve ice cream or very thick (needs a spoon, not a straw) milk shake. 1 frozen banana 3 frozen strawberries 1/2 cup soy milk For frozen bananas, just put an unpeeled banana in the freezer until it turns black. This is a great way to save those bananas that are getting too ripe and will spoil before you get a chance to eat them. Cut the tips off the banana, chop it in 1-inch pieces. Cut each piece in half lengthwise and pull the peel off, checking to make sure no strings of peel are left behind. Put the banana pieces and the strawberries in a food processor. Use the grind setting until the strawberries are broken down into frozen puree. Add the soy milk and process until smooth. Serve immediately. I made this with home-made soymilk, sweetened with Splenda (yeah, I know. Bad chemicals. I'm looking for a good mail-order source of stevia.) It clocks in at 200 calories. The calorie count may be different with store bought soymilk. (For reference, 39 of the calories were soy milk.) Sparrow
