Guest guest
So today I am kick-starting my weight loss again. Time to get rid of the few pounds that have crept on over the past couple of months (as we switched to a gfcf, corn-free diet, and Christmas and all) before they get too comfortable and invite their friends. I had good weight loss progress during the first half of last year, then things dropped off heading into the summer, with vacation and seasonal depression and all. Weight stayed pretty stable for the second half of the year, but it's time to start losing again. So today I re-start: - drinking lots of magic weight-loss juice (water) - tracking and measuring servings to make sure I am eating a balanced diet (particularly after the overhaul our diet has had over the last two months) - tracking exercise and getting out there moving around some more - making sure I am getting enough sleep We bought our new freezer on the weekend and it will be delivered Thursday. I am so looking forward to being able to double recipes and freeze meals and single servings for convenience, and not having everything avalanche out of the fridge-freezer onto my toes every time we open the doors! Once I've got the above steps " down " , then I will work on re-starting a morning exercise program. Once DS and DH start sleeping better again, and I can sneak downstairs to work out without waking them up and wrecking their sleep. I also have to figure out how not to pig out on fresh bread when we are having to bake it from scratch . . . it just smells and tastes so darn good fresh out of the oven! Guest guest
I'm down three pounds from when I posted. Of course, I was at the beginning of my period when I posted, so most of that is bloat, but it is a good feeling anyway, a good motivator to keep drinking water and watching my intake!
