Hi Kristin ~

Welcome! Glad you're here.

Sounds like you've got the " please everyone at one meal " routine down pat! :-)

I like to cook too and have discovered many great meals and recipes from our

produce delivery farm as well as other resources (books, online, etc.).

I look forward to getting our next box of produce Monday and making some delish

meals next week since we've been on the road for 2 weeks and now I've been too

sick to cook much, or enjoy it for that matter!

Do you think you'll go back to being vegetarian?

VEGETARIAN SLIMMING QUESTIONNAIRE

* your name or nickname

Kristin

* where you live (continent, region or city, whatever)

Missouri

* your age group - teens, 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s,

70s, 80s or more (congratulations!)?

30s

Also:

* Are you vegetarian (or vegan), still working at

it, or still thinking about it? How long?

I am a pescatarian. I was a vegetarian for about five years

and then I gave it up about five years ago and ate meat when

when I was out or at someone's house, or at home if my dh grilled

something during the summer. I recently stopped eating all meat

other than fish and I also eliminated dairy from my diet.

* Are you the only veggie or wannabe in your

household? How many others?

One of my teenagers is vegetarian and another is vegan, so virtually

every dinner I cook is vegan, vegan with vegetarian options (like cheese for

burritos, choice of marinara or alfredo sauce for pasts, etc.) or vegan and

vegetarian depending on which side of the pan you are eating from (for things

like pizza, enchiladas, lasagna--I make great foil barriers, lol). Lunch is

just

me and my dh, so it is usually something vegan or we have fish with vegan

sides.

My dh is an omnivore and my youngest child avoids anything with any nutritional

value

like the plague, so he is very difficult to feed.

* Do you do the cooking or is it shared?

I do the majority of the cooking because I like to cook. My dh has a few

specialties he makes once in a while and he loves to grill in the summer, and

he is capable of cooking if I'm too busy or tired. Sometimes we have " choose

your own adventure " nights and everybody finds their own food--except for the

youngest: someone helps him fix something.

Thanks for letting me join your group!
