i went dairy free this week. there are so many options for cheese

alternatives that taste good. it's been only a few days and i can

tell a huge difference in how i feel already. been using dairy

free " butter " for quite a while - cheese was the hardest, but the

alternatives work. besides, i keep finding mroe and more things that

do not need cheese at all - had a baked potato with no cheese - just

added garlic powder and cilantro instead.

I don¹t know if it¹s available yet in the States, but the best vegan cheese

I¹ve found here in Australia (and it¹s actually made in the UK) is Cheezly!

I don¹t find the need for a cheese substitute very often, really, but once

in a while I will pick some of this stuff up and it¹s really nice. Better

than any of the soy cheeses I¹d tried before.

I will say if you just gave up cheese recently, you may not like the

substitutes right away. I waited until I¹d been cheese free for a couple of

months to try them. It¹s what you¹re used to ... I didn¹t like soy milk at

first because it was different than what I was used to ... now I love it. I

didn¹t like the soy frozen desserts at first but now I love them.
