Guest guest
Welcome, Jean - Another UK member (my old stomping grounds) - AND a wannabee veggie. Well, if you've beein working at it for 5 years, good for you! It's not always easy, especially when other members of the household are still omnivore. Cutting down on your son's me*t intake is good for his health and your peace of mind, both important. Can you sometimes just make a veggie meal that he would enjoy? Something like veggie lasagna, for example, tastes remarkably like what he would think of as 'the real thing'. I'm not suggesting you try to deceive him about what's in it, of course - that doesn't work for everyone - but now and then he must might look forward to a rather special dish that you (oh dear, here it comes!) labour over (or *seem* to labour over - since we have some quick and easy recipes for it here too, I'm sure). Let us know if there's anything we can do to help.
