Guest guest
Ok I got on the scales this morning for the first time really in a fortnight, I have put on 8 pounds! Basically I have been eating junk as we had no oven (well we did but we couldn't get to it!) and trust me lots of cheese and onion slices will pile the weight on! So this morning I made myself a pledge, I have signed back up with Scottish Slimmers AND have started to track my weight again with WLR (when I signed on and put my weight in for today I am half a pound or 0.2kg UP on Jan 1st *waaaaah*) The Dragon (aka High Priestess Enchanting Evenweave) WIPs/UFOs = Teresa Wentzler, Celtic Summer, exchange 6/10ths done, RRs in progress http://dragonsteel.multiply.com/

Basically I have been eating junk . . .. Ouch! Sorry to hear that - you must be kicking yourself (which does no good at all, of course!) - but you have done the right thing to start tracking your weight carefully again. That helped me, I know. I still weigh myself each morning and keep track of what the scale says, writing it down each time. I am keeping steady at my 'happy' weight and I DO really find that somehow that works at some level or other to keep me from eating too much or too little. (I know it doesn't work for everyone, of course, and that many weightloss plans say to ignore the scales except once a week or once a month - never was a good idea for me to do that.) Without an oven or stove/cooker top I know 'junk' is a temptation - one falls into old habits, such as all that cheese (nearly ALL fat!). Why oh why when we have to eat cold things don't we gravitate towards salads, fruit, etc.! The human mind is a strange thing, eh? Lots and lots of luck. You'll have that weight back where you want it in no time if you stick to your healthy eating plan!
