Guest guest
Well, I'm back from my travels and am looking forward to catching up properly on all the chat on this group while I was away I see some recipes - which I will take care of later, if they haven't already been filed by Cindi - and some interesting queries about grains, limited portions, and goodness knows what else! Now that it's September (gosh - how did that happen?!) I expect many of us will be able to plan for lovely warming meals - and for holiday meals too - well in advance. The trick is to keep 'em coming and keep 'em slimming! (Only tried-and-true *slimming* recipes here, yes?) Right now I am pleased to report that I gained no weight whatsoever while I was away, and I can give credit for that to the excellent regime that is, more or less, that of Dr McDougall. I also like Fuhrman, but he's harder for me to follow because of ALL those raw greens. His regime is, however, the perfect way to lose weight without ever ever ever feeling hungry! I've tried almost every other way of losing weight and, equally important, maintaining weightloss, and those two just about beat all the others put together! Nice now to be working on keeping the weight stable rather than losing (I hover between 108 and 110 pounds (49-50 kg) at 5ft 2-1/2in.) And all that info was to say thanks to those who recommended McDougall and Fuhrman (on this and other groups) and to further recommend them to those who want to get fit, slim and healthy (why else would you be here, eh? LOL). Okay, off to the farmers' market now to find some lovely things for lunch! Best wishes to all! Love, Pat (Co-Owner with Cindi)

Guest guest
Hi Pat ~ Welcome back! Yes, I love the change in weather. Kymberli was saying last night it's almost time to break out the slow cooker again! Woohoo! Good job on not gaining any weight!
