Guest guest
Welcome to the group, Beverly V! How lovely that you have decided to become vegetarian! Please don't worry about cutting me*t out of your diet - there are lots of other ways to get what you need without dead animal muscle on your plate! Have a look in our Links section under Health, Nutrition and Fitness Information! Nice that your husband shares the cooking with you and is supportive - that makes such a difference Nice too that you have two dogs - we have a couple too, plus a cat. They're our 'family' now that the ds has (long) grown up! Good luck with your new lifestyle - and by all means write in to tell us how it is going with you. Btw, you don't mention (and I am eternally curious) but what 'kind' of veggie are you working to be? Ovo- lacto, lacto or just plants? My dh and I started out, many years ago, as ovo-lacto then gradually got onto just plants, but many - well probably most - members here are ovo-lacto I think. Chat later.
