I am married, have a son & live in North Central Florida where I lead a very boring life in the country. I am 39 and am still working on being a vegitarian. I am to the point where I rarely eat meat any more, but do eat eggs & most dairy. I started weaning myself off meat last November and slowly decreased the meat I eat by replacing it w/ veggies and whole grains and fruit. Sometimes it's easier to eat processed food but the " real " thing is oh so much better for us. And tastes amazing! We just got big bags of heirloom & cherry tomatoes in our produce delivery last night and made a impromptu capresse salad tonight with some basil, the tomatoes, a roasted red pepper and some mozzarella. It was sure tasty. But I digress. Welcome and please check out our files for ideas, post questions when you have them and share any yummy low-cal/fat recipes you have tried and loved.
