Guest guest
3) I find I prefer to hear about a book from another regular person. Experts who have written their own books or have their own websites regarding a subject, I've noticed, tend to treat other books/websites like the way someone would react if someone were to infer that their child is better than their child. They want to point out what they perceive as flaws in the other book/website and de-emphasize that a different approach might get the overall message through to someone who doesn't see the point. I meant to say how someone reacts if another person infers that the second person's child is better than the 1st person's child. I would have thought from all your 'obvious' reading that you'd know a vegan diet may not be inherently low fat in comparison to others. Nuts in particular are wonderfully vegan but very much fatty - even if of the 'good' fat. Ditto for Bananas, Avocado etc let alone the veg oils. Is seeking a low fat vegan diet unhealthy as you allege? It could be, but not necessarily. You seem to be making too many assumptions including one that you are upsetting folk by a) implying their thought- through diets are unhealthy and b) threatening to . What exactly do you want? Guest guest
I do see your point. At least in this case (Skinny Bitches book), tho I thought they were kind of funny, but also had little compassion for those with disease or complications beyond their view. I've been a vegetarian since 1973 and tho I enjoy reading the varous books out there, its not something I need to jump on a bandwagon for anymore. I know how to be one, I just like to have more around me that are veggies. ~ Priitaa Hypothyroid Vegetarians: http://health.HypothyroidVegetarians , " tonialmo " <tonialmo wrote: > > 3) I find I prefer to hear about a book from another regular person. > Experts who have written their own books or have their own websites > regarding a subject, I've noticed, tend to treat other books/websites > like the way someone would react if someone were to infer that their > child is better than their child.
