Yes, it is amazing how many products contain animal products once you start

paying attention isn't it?

I am the only wannage although my DH is similar in that we love a wide

variety of foods - he is optimistic to become " mostly " meat free. The

younger boys @ this time will not be required for every meal meat free

for them at this time. My 11 year old has noticed but also loves the

meals.

 

* Do you do the cooking or is it shared? Mostly me through the week.

Weekends my DH will pitch in and cook a meal (he does clean up during

the week).

Reading through " The complete Idiot's Guide to Being Vegetarian " .

Reading somewhere else online last night. Big eye opener on cheese,

wine and yogurt possibly containing animal products. Sure enough, I

checked the children's yogurt and there was geletin. I never suspected

to have to check cheese and yogurt!

 

Looking forward to this journey and learning lots from this group.
