Guest guest
Fot all you informed folks, I have a question. I am not sure what the difference is between cracked wheat and bulgher wheat. Can both be used interchangeably in tabouli recipes and other recipes? Peggy K.
Guest guest
Bulgher is a little finer usually, parboiled and dried. Only need soaking in hot water to be fully edible. Cracked wheat needs cooking for a while. Interchangeable in recipes , such as tabouli , when they are prepaired. Buying whole grain wheat and cracking your own in a mill is far cheaper than retail bulgher, and fresher too! LCC (out of lurking) pkinnetz wrote: > Fot all you informed folks, I have a question.
