Do you find it difficult being a vegan and preparing the animal

products for your family? I'm too knew at this so at this time it is

only my choice - not a problem to purchase or cook as usual for the

family but I can see at some point in time that it might be. I

shuddered today looking at the jello boxes!

I always just cook for my diet, and if others want something that I don't

eat, they can cook it themselves.

And clean up the greasy frying pans too.

Actually, I have not had a problem cooking it for may family so far.

That may be because I became a vegetarian, initially, because of Health

reasons and not because of the animal aspect of it all. My family,

however, says that I don't cook it the way that I use to. To make it

easier on myself, lately, I cook MY FOOD (which they are good about

eating those things as their sides ) and for their Meat I fix something

ready made or bake something frozen or I pick up something at the deli so that I

don't have

to deal with it.

(edited by moderator/specific references to meat removed)

My hubby cooks the meat for himself and my daughter on the weekend,

and then they eat from that during the week. They also eat the veggies

I eat. But, I don't have a problem with cooking meat. I just am

disabled and it's very difficult for me to stand and cook.
