Mom only being Veggie

I hear you there...before my dad retired from being a truck driver my mom more

or less raised us veggie with very little meat but once dad was home, we ate

more of it. There are still some meat dishes that I cannot stomach from the side

effects . . . [details of non-veg discussion edited by moderator]. It doesn't

matter who or how it's made, my stomach doesn't like it, and I'm thinking it's

from my corn allergy, too much of it at once with the corn starch for the

thickener and breading.

 

My biggest down fall for not going vegan is I LOVE dairy! I can't imaging life

without cheese and ice cream! I have tried the soy ice cream but it's not the

same.

No, it's not the same ... like soy milk isn't the same as dairy

milk. But it's a matter of what you're used to. Once you get used

to the soy versions (which took very little time) then you'll be fine

with them. :)
