Part of this detox diet is having a blended salad at lunch to get in more raw veggies/fruits. I found a way to make a blended salad the way I like it. I use the spinach salad detox recipe, and add an orange and 1/4 cup lemon juice and ice cubes. It tastes so good, I can't believe it. I also found a way to make the water-sauteed greens not come so mushy, and it is much more enjoyable! And I could eat the healthy slaw recipe every day. If anyone has any raw slaw type recipes, please pass them along. I think I will extend the detox over the weekend and not start the 6 week plan til Monday, as I like starting on Mondays (it's normally 5 days, but I'll do it for 7). I can't believe how much I like this detox diet and how much better I feel. Next week, I get to try different foods, since I won't be doing detox. And, the bonus is--I got my original wedding ring on for the first time in about 15 years!
