By coincidence (truly!) I post this in the wake of the last two posts but not as

a comment

on them :)

 

For the interest of the many of you who are here because it is a low-fat group

and are

cutting down on fats and oil AND for the interest of those with high

bloodpressure, etc:

 

There's been more research on high-fat eating and bloodpressure, showing that

even one

high-fat meal can actually change bloodpressure.

Makes sense to me. The fat gets dumped into the bloodstream until it

can be processed by the liver. That makes the blood thicker and more

viscous. Try to circulate more viscous blood through narrow blood

vessels, and you would get an increase in pressure.
