Guest guest
By coincidence (truly!) I post this in the wake of the last two posts but not as a comment on them For the interest of the many of you who are here because it is a low-fat group and are cutting down on fats and oil AND for the interest of those with high bloodpressure, etc: There's been more research on high-fat eating and bloodpressure, showing that even one high-fat meal can actually change bloodpressure. Guest guest
Makes sense to me. The fat gets dumped into the bloodstream until it can be processed by the liver. That makes the blood thicker and more viscous. Try to circulate more viscous blood through narrow blood vessels, and you would get an increase in pressure.
