Welcome, Dena, and congratulations on making a satisfactory transition to

vegetarianism.

If you need additional help/ideas in making the change to veganism complete,

just let us

know - there are a number of vegans here (including myself).

 

It must be quite a challenge being the only veggie in the household! I'm lucky -

my dh also

eats/lives as I do, so no special meals or different shopping required and he

also shares

the cooking (not _exactly_ 50-50, but . . . ). I guess you're getting quite good

at preparing

veggie meals for yourself that serve as side dishes to the rest, eh?

Thanks so much for the warm welcome, Pat. Any yes, you're right ... I *am*

getting good at making meals for me that are side dishes. I'm finding, though,

that more and more, I'm able to leave the meat out and most everyone is happy.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the rest of the family will join me soon.
