Guest guest
Nearly forgot this until I saw someone else posting! Sorry Okay - me on the lowest fat thingie, kinda like McDougall or Barnard (I like Barnard better) Breakfast: 1/4 cup steel-cut oats soaked overnight with raisins, adding flaxseed (ground), cinnamon and nutmeg, stevia, a little wheatgerm (did I mention that before?), 1/2 chopped apple, splash of rice milk. Rice milk carob 'cocoa' - 1/2 cup 1/2 banana Lunch: Salad of red bell peppers, apple, celery, onion, cucumber, in rice vinegar/balsamic 1 portion of Red Dragon Pie (in our Files since early 2005 - see / files/%2A%20RECIPES/Main%20Meals%20and%20Side%20Dishes/ and modified by me in the following way: no fat in the cooking. Substitute barley for wheat or rice, add garlic and ginger to the bean mix, sub 2 Tbsp. tomato paste for tomato sauce, add crushed chiles and/or cayenne, less potato - I simply 'ice' the 'pie' with a mashed potatoes, which I mash with low-fat soymilk and a couple of Tbsp nutritional yeast and a couple of chopped green onions and top with a shake of faux cheezy crumbs and a shake of paprika. Oh dratitall, I'll re-post it later as Spicy Red Dragon Pie LOL) Evening Meal: Cauliflower and Cabbage Soup ('cremed' with soft silken tofu in the blender) Slice wholewheat homemade bread Throughout all - green and herbal teas (I've finally finally kicked the caffein habit! Yay!!) Okay, not very exciting, except for the Red Dragon Pie - which is delish in either of its versions. (And there are other versions out on the net too, offered in other groups as well, so you KNOW it's good.) But I enjoyed my meals thoroughly and no, am not hungry anymore yet still losing weight slowly. 1 kg. in the last week. Love, Pat
