McDougall diet plan

I did a search and somehow came upon some of McDougall's book's diet

plan etc. What do people think of him. I am tempted to order a couple

of his books. But will wait for input.

I think he's great! His is the first true (cooked) Vegan diet stuff I

found. I think Esseltyn is another. Ornish is also good - but he

allows for egg whites, which I won't do. He does have some good true

vegan recipes as well.

 

Oh - another type of vegetarian I forgot to mention in my previous post

is the " Raw Vegan. " If it weren't for my having bad teeth, I'd be there

- the nuts and cruciferous veggies are too hard for me to chew to get

enough calories in every day. If you want info on that, a great site by

a beautiful Raw family is www.thegardendiet.com

 

So that said - as for me - I choose to do both cooked and raw Vegan

foods, as low fat as I can make them. Doing this and working out

(daily - I'm an endomorph) is helping greatly:-)
