Guest guest
Hi Lisa and welcome to the group! I was never a big meat eater when I was younger too; hamburgers or steak; yucky! :-) Sounds like you're on the right path to getting back to your roots! Do you access to local produce where you are? I live in an area that has great agriculture surrounding me so I'm spoiled with lots of fresh produce year-round. Your daughters may surprise you once you start making some yummy veg meals for them! Again, welcome and feel free to share any favorite recipes with the group and check out our recipe files for ideas too. I have an 19 year old and twin 17 year old daughters at home.... one more year.... As a child I basically was an unknowning vegetarian (milk, eggs). I disliked meat. I became a young adult and started fast food...I'm trying to go back to my roots. The hubby and myself are the only ones willing. The girls aren't going for it, but guess what I'm the only one that cooks in the house!!! Guess they will be changing too. For health reasons my change must happen.... I need to lower blood pressure, weight, and my blood sugars. So I will be a regular in this group. .
