I'm so criminally behind in my welcomes, so here goes one email with parts in it

for each of the recent newbies (and I DO so hope I've not overlooked someone!).

 

Hi MEGAN - I know what you mean when you say:

I think for me, when I went vegetarian first, it was the challenge I loved :)

But yes, it's easy

to just keep on with that old weight problem even as a veggie :( We'll do what

we can to

help, I promise!

And congratulations! That's just lovely - if, as I'm sure, very very busy! As

for what you

Well you've got to be motivated and you have to have wonderful things to

substitute for

that junk food imho - and we have the food ideas for sure. Have a look at the

Files! But

you know, I think it's something veggies fall into - Junk Food is often there

for us when we

can't find anything else veggie in a hurry. And it is comforting. Sad but true.

Now to turn

that all around and find better ways! Good luck!!! And ask if you need help,

okay?

That's fantastic! Good for you - were you just going vegan and low fat or were

following a specific diet (eg. out of a book or ?)??? There are people here who

would like

to know LOL Keep up the good work!
