Guest guest
On E2L, its normal to lose a lot of weight in the beginning six weeks (sort of a detox thing, I think) then to continue to lose at a slower rate. I'm averaging about 2-3 lbs a week at this point, even though I'm eating a healthy number of calories for weightloss (1300-1400 a day); its just the nature of the diet. It was designed by Dr. Furhman and is laid out in the book _Eat to Live_. It's a whole-food, mostly-vegan diet (really easy to do vegan but doesn't have to be) that is based on getting the most nutrients possible out of every calorie you eat, so mostly raw and cooked veggies, beans, fruits, nuts, etc. Very limited processed foods, processed sugars, low sodium, etc. I know there are few other E2L-ers on here...its a good plan and the first major dietary change since going veg 13 years ago that I've been able to stick with. ~Rachael , Cindi <cindi93069 wrote: > > Wow Rachael ~ you've lost about 10 pounds a month!!
