Hi again, Sharon :)

And you didn't gain weight again! Good for you! And 40 pounds in just four

months is absolutely great! I've been doing lowfat for a while now, but

sometimes 'low' creeps up to being not quite as low as it should be. So I'm

being stricter with myself this last week and a half and I'm losing those extra

pounds I put on too :) I do add ground flaxseed to my breakfast - so there

is obviously some 'fat', as there is in some other foods too.

I agree. It's not just fat (of course not!!!) but hidden sugars and all sorts of

things that we don't need :( - at least I don't need 'em LOL Have you tried

adding lots of whole grains to your meals, rather than refined (white flour,

white rice, white pasta, etc.)? I find them very very satisfying and of course

they're reputed to be good for us too.

Keep us in touch with how you're doing, okay?

Love, Pat

I have limited amounts of carbs (mostly just for breakfast when I

have a sweet breakfast bread and occassion rice when I eat out

(Japanese or Thai restaurants) I don't eat refined starches any

longer. Find their taste is very lacking
