Guest guest
I have to chime in also. I have been a vegetarian for almost 17 years, and vegan off and on for much of it. My sister is also Veg, my daughter is veg. My sister and I are pale as we are redheads. She is the bright pretty redhead and I am the dishwater redhead. My daughter however, is sort of tawny - is so beautiful that people often stop her and tell her that. She surfs, she is a swimming instructor, etc... and has a tan (not that sun phobic mom approves!) My church has many,. many veg's also. None that I know are sick or pale looking unless in fact they are sick. Could it be that others like myself are protecting their skin from the sun? I have rosacea and wear sun protection, hats, clothing etc all designed not to let my skin in the sun. Kym

Guest guest
I gather you are worried about some kind of missing ingredients? What could you possibly be missing? B12 is the only nutrient a vegan need be concerned about. ON the other hand, what negative things is one not getting?
