Hello!

My name is Kim, and I'm 35 years old. I've been a vegiatrian for

almost 6 months now. I found the change over to be easier then I

first imagined. I remember thinking I could never live with out

eating red meat, but when I'd made the change I realised I hadn't

realy been eating it that often anyway. I did eat alot of chicken,

and always loved fish, and pork as well. Well, after some searching

on the internet, I've come to realise that I'm what's called a lacto-

ovo vegitarian, at least according to one site. I've given up the

fish now, but seriously doubt I can go with out my milk, eggs, or

cheeze. I've felt healthier since changing my diet, and my weight

loss program is soon to begin. I recently discovered that I'm

doomed to begin physical therapy because of minor spinal issues. Of

course the doc mentioned losing weight, which has been very real in

my mind this year. I'm going to start an exercise program as soon

as the physical therepist give me the go ahead to exercise and how

best to do that. I'm excited about being in this group because I'm

always looking for new recepies for my fiance and my self. I have

one small cookbook, but it's pretty small. The other cookbook I

have is rather confusing, at it's not been converted from metric,

and the author talks too much about every little thing. I'm looking

forward to exchanging recepies and learning how to cook with new

foods.

Kim
