Guest guest
Does anyone have a cookbook called Fix-It and Forget-It Lightly: Healthy, Low-Fat Recipes for Your Slow Cooker? I've searched around on the Internet trying to find a table of contents with no luck. I'm sure you all know the story. Every crock pot cookbook out there has 90% recipes featuring meat and as such is usually a pass on the shopping list. I bought 125 Best Slow Cooker Vegetarian Recipes and its OK but the recipes are more work than what I want to deal with when cooking with a crock pot. You know, cooking half the recipes first on the stovetop or mixing ingredients in a blender, or otherwise spending a lot of time preparing what goes in the crock pot. I made the vegetarian lasagne which took me the better part of the morning to prepare including running around to 3 different grocery stores to find all the ingredients, and when all was said and done I'd invested about $30, a bit more than I wanted for lasagne. Basically I want to find recipes that I can toss in the crock pot with little fuss and preparation. If anyone has Fix-It and Forget-It Lightly : Healthy, Low- Fat Recipes for Your Slow Cooker and can give a review whether or not its worth it to buy, please post a response. Thanks so much!
