Since the recipe didn't indicate the number of servings, I guessed 8. Hope this helps - back to lurking. * Exported from MasterCook * Celene's Celestial Stew Recipe By : Serving Size : 8 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Soups/ Stews Vegetables Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 2 pounds potatoes -- chopped into cubes 48 ounces tomatoes, canned -- whole peeled 2 medium onions -- diced 3 medium carrots -- sliced 16 ounces frozen corn kernels 16 ounces frozen green peas 1 cup dry sherry 7 teaspoons garlic powder 2 teaspoons oregano 1 Tablespoon fresh basil 1 teaspoon dried rosemary 2 each bay leaf 1 teaspoon thyme 1/2 teaspoon sage 2 teaspoons fresh parsley -- minced 2 teaspoons salt Boil the potatoes until soft, about 20-25 minutes. Pour off the water and add the 2 cans of tomates with the juice. Add the onions, carrots, corn and peas. stir well and cook for about 5 minutes. Add the remaining ingredients and cook uncovered at a low for about 2 hours.
