Dear Midas,

 

Casey and Made' here, Pat's beagles. Honest to goodness, wouldn't these

so-called

guardians of ours just frost you! Well, if they didn't have us around to help

they'd be in a

mess. We had the fire alarm go off last night after we were all asleep and our

Dad just

didn't MOVE - he doesn't hear well unless he sticks kibbles in his ears, so we

had to waken

him up and wake up Mama and get them down six flights of stairs cuz the magic

moving

room wasn't working, they said. It was all a mistake, they said, but everyone

else was out

there with THEIR humans, so I figure we did the right thing to get them out. It

gave us a

little time to cruise and shmooze with real people too, which was nice -

although Mama

and Dad were stuck with being polite to just humans while they all pretended

there was

nothing unusual about all being outside at that time.

 

Anyway, thanks for sending the photo along. Very nice indeed (are you a single

dog? We're

not 'together' - just good friends). Our photos are in Mama's album under her

old name

which she called after us - veggiehound.
