Guest guest
Ginger will also keep indefinitely in the fridge, sliced and covered with sherry. The sherry can then be used in soups and stir-fries. hth, Leslie in Atlanta - . I store my ginger in a bag in the freezer and whenever I need some for a recipe, I take it out, grate what I need, and put it back in the freezer. It doesn't need to be thawed first. In fact, it's much easier to grate it when it's frozen. :-) " .
