Guest guest
Cindi--I've been doing WW for quite a while (probably about 17 years!), but not consistently all the time through these years! When I first joined, I was a new Mom with baby fat, I liked WW, and lost weight, then got off, had another baby, etc...you know, life! I was not actively following WW all these years...but knew I could always join again and get the latest info and tweaks based on what was considered top nutrition at the time. I think of all the " plans " out there, that WW is the best, just because of the flexibility and common sense. I'm not trying to promote it, but, since you asked, to me, the guidelines and principles behind it are pretty sound. And it fits in very nicely with a vegetarian menu. Also, through my sometimes enrollment through all these 17 years, I've learned a lot about healthy eating. The meetings are great for the group support! I lost 27 pounds last year---even after a broken foot!--- doing the WW plan. I have to say that I was in the right frame of mind at the right time, and WW was offering a good discount for lifetime members to come back. I think the key is that you have to be ready to make some changes...and then keep track, and then, You can achieve anything! Sorry if this post was too wordy! Best wishes for your first weigh- in!
