portable picnic recipes

I have a huge, family reunion, pot luck picnic to go to tomorrow, and

I'm trying to decide what to make.

We have to drive an hour to get there, so temperature sensitive dishes

are out.

There will be a sea of meat and mayonaise, I'm shooting for fresh,

minimally dressed ideas.

I may just grab fruit and veggie trays at the store and call it a

plan, but these gatherings crop up a few times a year, and we are

thinking of hosting a smaller cookout in a few weeks, so any recipes

that are a hit will be used over and over.
