July is a pretty lazy time on Vegetarian Slimming this year - we're usually pretty busy! - but it's all up to members: post and it is a busy and interesting list; don't post and it isn't LOL But I see many of you have already made friends here, and that really makes me happy! If you're looking for recipes, the easiest way is go to our Files at: vegetarianslimming/files A note: some of you might be on weight-loss plans which have different requirements to this group. That is understood. However, at Vegetarian Slimming we do not recommend any *healthy* vegetarian weight-loss diet over another and do not ourselves offer a weight-loss diet plan. We advocate healthy eating - foods unprocessed as much as reasonably possible, whole grains, etc. (as in wholewheat breads, brown rice, etc.) - in addition to low-fat eating and lower-calorie intake coupled with exercise. No 'magic bullet' :-) Please bear this in mind when posting recipes too. Another note: This group is co-owned by Pat (myself, in Canada) and Piers (in the Netherlands), assisted by Maida (USA) who looks after the Recipes Files and Haras (USA) who helps in all other moderating duties (and many thanks to them and whatever magic sent them to us!).
