We are pleased to see you here!! :-) And congratulations to those who have recently decided to become vegetarians - it's a wonderful step to take and you won't regret it. Additionally, your body/health will thank you and, of course, the animals will thank you. Please feel free to post about your problems with going veggie, if you have any, and ask any questions you need to. There's usually someone around to answer queries - even in the midst of a north american summer! Just remember, however, that this *is* a vegetarian group. You don't have to be a vegetarian to be here, but you are kindly asked to respect our chosen lifestyle and beliefs/practices. That means we ask for no discussion of eating animal flesh (if it has a central nervous system or ever had a mother, it's an animal) and no recipes containing animal flesh or dead-animal products. Pretty easy, eh :-) Have a look at our recipes in the Files: Go to vegetarianslimming/files and you are sure to find something to please you! Some recipes are easy, some more complicated, some slow cooking and some 'quick fixes'. Also, some are marked vegan - for those of us who do not use *any* animal products including eggs and dairy. All are delicious! Okay, start posting (remind yourself of our few rules first) and make friends with others who are like-minded! This is a great place to be! Moderators are Maida (who looks after filing our recipes for us) and Haras, who pinch-hits for Piers and myself when we get lazy, busy or go walkabout.
