Guest guest
Hi guys, I'm a longtime member of this group but have been no mail for such a long time (years) due to a number of house moves, getting married and a career change. Pat will remember me. *waves* . I used to use either veganvixen, reading-fairy or laurakatemoore as my email address but now I'm married i'm just plain Laura Wingfield. I'm no longer vegan, just veggie now, and still having some weight issues and now am eating more unhealthily than ever. So i decided it was time to confront the situation and immerse myself in healthy veggie eating. So here i am! I also thought i had better reintroduce myself. 1) What is your name or what would you like to be called? Laura (although I'm LauraKateKnits on my LiveJournal and various other things) 2) How old are you (roughly)? 24 (25 this week!) 3) Where do you live (what country - what town, city or region)? Stevenage, Hertfordshire, UK 4) How long have you been a vegetarian/vegan? At least 3 years, maybe 4. 5) What is your favourite (vegetarian) food or meal? Tricky one - i love pastry and pizza but am trying to avoid it for obvious reasons so i'll go with homemade veg and chickpea curry or anything with homemade pasta. May husband makes great tagliatelle! 6) How did you find this group? I started it originally, although handed over control long long ago. 7) Is there anything specific you want to get out of the group? Healthy recipe ideas and advice. Also, i'm trying to conceive so any veggie pregnancy/conception advice would be great. 8) Favorite things: Knitting, crochet, spinning on my new spinning wheel, gardening, reading, www.bookcrossing.com, collage, cooking and general homemaking stuff. I can't wait to be a Mum! Looking forward to talking to you all. Laura x
