>3) Where do you live (what country - what town, city or region)?

 

Northern California Coast (Fort Bragg). Yup, the same town as Cherie Soria's

Living Light Institute. Their raw food vegan deli has some yummy food! Like

the zucchini with dried tomato marinara, the sunflower *burger*, and sprouted

quinoa tabbouleh! (Cherie is a very nice but BUSY lady.)

 

>4) How long have you been a vegetarian/vegan?

 

I've never been much of a meat eater, to be honest. I can't remember the last

time I cooked meat myself, though I have had some out at restaurants on

occasion. Though I have just recently decided to go completely vegetarian, much

to the surprise of my husband and mother! So I've been a full-on vegetarian for

only this month...and I'm loving it so far.

 

>5) What is your favourite (vegetarian) food or meal?

 

I love veggie soups of all kinds; I could live on 'em!

 

>6) How did you find this group?

 

A search on Groups.

 

>7) Is there anything specific you want to get out of the group?

 

Well, since this group is about weight loss, I'd like to learn more about

vegetarianism and weight-loss.

 

>8) Tell us a few of your favourite things.

 

I love to play on the computer (participate on lists, build websites), read,

watch food shows and crime dramas on TV, and do needle crafts. I'm also getting

my AA degree online in Web Applications. I'm married to Michael for nearly 8

years now; we have no children. We run a little *mom-n-pop* specialty food

store.

 

Some of you may know me from the cooking lists I've run on the Internet since

1998.
