I have used them in place of ground beef in spaghetti and tacos. The only problem with using them for taco meat --- the taco sauce --- sort of " clings " to it - instead of becomes part of it --- so it sort of makes the taco taste to much like the seasoning mix. Did not have that problem with it in spaghetti though - but I let it simmer longer - so maybe that is the difference? Cat I'd be interested in the info as well! We use Boca soy crumbles for things like sloppy joes & tacos. It soaks up the flavor nicely and adds some nice texture. I wasn't aware that Green Giant produced something similar.
