? about oil - modified cornbread recipe

Greetings,

 

Here is exactly what I did to modify the Cornbread recipe from the

PCRM website:

 

1 1/2 cup almond beverage

1 cup cornmeal

1 cup whole wheat pastry flour

2 tablespoons raw sugar

3/4 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

6 tablespoons of flax seed meal.

 

Preheat oven to 425

 

Mix dry ingredients in a large bowl. Add the almond beverage. Stir

until just blended. Spread the batter into a nonstick or lightly

oil-sprayed 9-inch square baking dish, and bake for 20 - 25 minutes,

or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
