Guest guest
Vegetarian Health and Slimming group is happy to announce the birth of a new list! After some profitable off-list discussion coming out of our recent on-list discussiions, we looked through the archives and found there are indeed many of you who are serious about exercise and who would benefit from some serious advice about the best kinds of things to eat to suit *your* particular lifestyle. Therefore a new group, Athletic Vegans and Vegetarians, is to be hosted by vegetarianslimming member Marty Reagan aka reaganmarty and can be found at the following webpage: athleticveg/ From the webpage: " This is a new group which addresses the special needs of all athletic, fitness-minded and sports-minded vegans and vegetarians, regardless of activity, ability or age. If you are athletic and vegan/vegetarian or would like to become so, then this is the place for you to ask, discuss, share, chat, learn. For athletes especially serious exercisers in need of good but plentiful calories without the fat and sugar in so many " athletic " meals. AND of course vegetarian. " So all who are interested in proper nutrition and recipes for serious exercisers, please add athleticveg to your groups (in addition, of course, to vegetarianslimming!). Got kids, grandparents, husbands, wives, lovers, sisters, brothers, cousins, postal carriers, tax accountants who'd be interested? Tell them about it too! Take a look: it's awfully cute for a newborn! athleticveg/ love to all, Piers and Pat (co-owners vegetarianslimming)

Guest guest
I'm just doing the set-up and admin stuff, actually - Marty will be hosting it - what I know about athletes and their needs you could fit in your eye without blinking! But I'm pleased that you're pleased and hope that it'll be a go-er. Don't leave us here, now! love, Pat > Yippee - thanks for putting this new group together, Pat! > Best regards, > Karen
