Hello there, and welcome, Rhiannon!

 

A lifelong vegetarian! Fantastic. You should have a whole lifetime of recipes

and food tips

to pass on to newbies here :-)

 

You say you like 'pollenta with a mallorcan tomato based sauce' - do you have a

recipe for

that? I'm mad for anything with tomatoes!

 

And like most of us you want to lose a little weight. I guess snacking between

meals puts

the weight on (I do it by second helpings <sigh>), but sometimes taking smaller

meals

and keeping healthy snacks in there is all it takes to lose the weight -

provided you leave

most of the fat (we're a low-fat list, so gotta remind you of that ;-)) and the

sugars alone.

The sugars are the terrible culprit of course. So much is hidden in foods we buy

if we use

the already prepared variety at all - even soups and canned goods.

 

So have a good look at our Files for recipes, and ask for anything you want,

okay? There

are others here who will be delighted to help and of course who will be grateful

for any

tips you can pass on!
