Guest guest
You really sound as if you have your work cut out for you with three children and a husband who is studying - not to mention the homeschooling! And it's great that you'll be becoming a vegetarian - will the rest of the family be interested in becoming vegetarian too? You say:I am very interested in becoming > I wont be cutting out eggs(I have a source for organic)or > dairy(we are drinking soy milk). That's okay on this *vegetarian* list - we have both vegans and vegetarians here. We tend not to have much in the way of dairy cheese in our recipes, however, because of the fat content - this is a low-fat list. Same with cream, sour cream, etc. But you can always add them, I guess, if you feel the need and aren't interested in losing weight. >I am very > limited to funds so I am looking for more frugal recipes. We'll have quite a few of those - it's pretty easy to be economical about vegetarian food as long as one stays away from those pre-prepared veggie meat substitutes, which do tend to be a bit pricey. (Well, here they are, anyway!) You can make your own burgers from lentils, beans, all kinds of things :-) I look forward to chatting with you later on the list. Let us know if there is anything you particularly need to know, okay? Asking questions is fine! That's what we're here for!
