Guest guest Posted January 3, 2006 Report Share Posted January 3, 2006 Hi, my name is Laura and I live in Michigan. I'm 47 and have been following a mostly vegan diet for 3 years. My favorite food is microwaved baked red potatoes. I usually put three bean salad or some other salad, or split pea soup on top of my potatoes. I'm mostly looking for ideas and recipes from people who are serious about losing weight. I'm particularly interested in ways to acclimate children to being vegetarian when they don't like beans or most vegetables. (c8 Although I've followed the mostly vegan diet, I've cheated often enough on higher fat foods that I haven't lost much weight. I would like to lose 30 more pounds and have lost about 20 so far.
