Guest guest Posted February 13, 2002 Report Share Posted February 13, 2002 * Exported from MasterCook * Beer-Cheese Fondue Recipe By : Serving Size : 1 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Sauces And Marinades Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 clove garlic -- peeled and halved 1 tablespoon butter or margarine 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar -- (8 ounces) 1 tablespoon flour 1/3 cup beer 2 tablespoons vodka French bread cubes KMS note: I skipped the vodka and added milk to help thin out the sauce. Rub the inside of a heavy saucepan with the garlic. Over very low heat, melt the butter. Toss the cheese and flour together and add to the pot along with the beer and vodka. Heat, stirring rapidly, until smooth. Transfer to a fondue pot.
