Hummus, Black Olives and Cilantro on Granary

2 slices whole-grain bread

1 ounce hummus -- or more

1 tablespoon pitted and sliced black olives

or black olive pate

fresh cilantro leaves

 

Spread two slices of whole grain bread with hummus, allowing 1 to 1.5-oz per

sandwich, and top with pitted and sliced black olives and cilantro leaves.

 

Alternatively, spread one slice of bread with black olive pate and the other

with hummus and sandwich the cilantro leave in between.

 

Replace cilantro with arugula, alfalfa sprouts, celery leaves, etc.
