Guest guest Posted January 24, 2002 Report Share Posted January 24, 2002 can't wait to try this! * Exported from MasterCook * Strawberry Key Lime Pie Recipe By :Imar Hutchins & Dawn Marie Daniels Serving Size : 0 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 graham cracker crumb pie crust 12 ounces vegan tofu cream cheese 1/2 cup cane sugar 6 tablespoons key lime juice -- (juice of 1 1/2 key limes) 1/2 cup vegan soy sour cream 1 teaspoon vanilla 4 tablespoons agar agar 4 tablespoons water 1 pint fresh strawberries First slice the strawberries and set them aside in the refrigerator. Next, with a fork beat the tofu cream cheese, sour cream and vanilla. In a pot boll the water, agar agar and sugar until sugar and agar agar are dissolved. Remove from heat and add the lime juice. Mix in the lime mixture with the cream cheese until well blended. Pour into the graham cracker crust. Place in the refrigerator covered for three hours. Place the strawberries on top of the pie in a design of your choice and replace in the refrigerator for another hour and it will be set and ready to serve.
