Some of the recipes in this book seem to be circular, in that one uses the

ingredients to another, so that when you have finished formatting the

recipes you want, you've formatted almost the entire whole book. I will

post the recipes for the Dry-Roasted Soybeans which is referred to in this

Soy Cheesey Gomasio

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

2 cups Dry-Roasted Soybeans

(see separate recipe)

2 cups nutritional yeast flakes

2 teaspoons salt

1 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon garlic granules

 

Makes 3 cups.

 

This is a Parmesan cheese substitute that takes very little time to make

and will keep for months in a covered jar in the refrigerator. The taste

is not as strong as plain nutritional yeast.

 

Place all ingredients in a blender and grind to a fine meal.

 

Per Tbsp: Calories: 38, Protein: 4 gm, Carbohydrates: 4 gm., Fat: 1 gm.
